چکیده
We propose Agora, the first blockchain-based data marketplace that enables multiple privacy-concerned parties to get compensated for contributing and exchanging data, without relying on a trusted third party during exchange. Agora achieves data privacy , xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">output verifiability xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">atomicity of payments by leveraging cryptographic techniques, is designed as decentralized application via smart contracts. Particularly, generators provide encrypted brokers who use xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">functional secret key learn nothing but output specific, agreed upon, function over raw data. Data consumers can purchase decrypted outputs from brokers, accompanied corresponding xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">proofs correctness . implement working prototype Ethereum experimentally evaluate its performance deployment costs. As core building block we new encryption scheme with additional public parameters operate trust anchor verifying results.

More and more data are becoming part of people’s lives. With the popularization of technologies like sensors, and the Internet of Things, data gathering is becoming possible and accessible for users. With these data in hand, users should be able to extract insights from them, and they want results as soon as possible. Average users have little or no experience in data analytics and machine lear...
متن کاملTowards Privacy aware Big Data analytics
Big Data platforms allow the integration and analysis of high volumes of data with heterogeneous format from different sources. Big Data analytics support the derivation of properties and correlations among data and are considered by companies a key asset to make business decisions. The analyzed data often include personal and sensitive information, thus the analysis implies threats to privacy,...

Today, publication of medical data faces high legal barriers. On the one hand, publishing medical data is important for medical research. On the other hand, it is neccessary to protect peoples’ privacy by ensuring that the relationship between individuals and their related medical data remains unknown to third parties. Various data anonymization techniques remove as little identifying informati...
متن کاملPoster: Privacy-Aware Publishing of Netflix Data
To seek better prediction techniques, data owners of recommender systems such as Netflix sometimes make their customers’ reviews available to the public, which raises serious privacy concerns. With only a small amount of knowledge about individuals in a recommender system, an adversary may be able to re-identify users and consequently determine their item ratings. In this work, we present a rob...
متن کاملPrivacy-aware collection of aggregate spatial data
Privacy concerns can be a major barrier to collecting aggregate data from the public. Recent research proposes negative surveys that collect negative data, which is complementary to the true data. This opens a new direction for privacy-aware data collection. However, the existing approach cannot avoid certain errors when applied to many spatial data collection tasks. The errors can make the dat...
